Why delivery matters

It's not just what you take. It's what reaches your cells.

NMN is a powerful ingredient — the direct precursor your body converts into NAD⁺. But delivery decides how much of it your body can actually use, because NMN is fragile in digestion. Liquid Theory was built to solve that: a liposomal liquid designed to protect the dose on its way to your cells. Better delivery supports better cellular health — and better everyday performance.

The molecule

Your cells run on NAD⁺.
Your performance depends on it.

~50% Approximate decline in cellular NAD⁺ from early adulthood to your 40s and 50s.*

NAD⁺ is the coenzyme your cells use to turn food into energy. Hundreds of reactions depend on it — and it naturally declines with age.

That decline is linked to the fatigue, slower recovery, and mental fog that often come with age. NMN is the direct precursor your body converts back into NAD⁺.

Healthy NAD⁺ levels support the cellular energy that powers everyday performance.

01

NAD⁺ declines with age

The coenzyme behind energy, repair, and metabolism falls as the decades pass.

02

NMN helps restore NAD⁺

600 mg of β-NMN, the direct precursor your body converts into NAD⁺.

03

Liposomal delivery

A phospholipid layer shields the NMN on its way through the gut.

Why liquid, not a capsule

1

Stomach

Liquid bypasses the harsh gastric environment, helping more β-NMN reach your system intact.

2

Digestion

Liposomal delivery helps enhance absorption compared to standard capsules.

3

Daily ritual

A simple tear and sip. No pills, no powders, no mixing. Just consistent support, wherever life takes you.

Energy, done right

Clean energy, not a stimulant.

Caffeine doesn't create energy. It masks the signal that says you're tired, and the crash comes later. NAD⁺ works one level deeper: at the machinery that actually makes energy.

NAD⁺ support
  • Fuels the cell's own energy
  • Nothing borrowed, nothing owed
  • Steady, no spike, no crash
  • Supports focus, recovery & endurance
Stimulants
  • Block the "I'm tired" signal
  • Borrow energy you pay back
  • Spike, then crash
  • Tolerance keeps climbing

Why this works

Built to actually deliver

Four things decide whether NAD⁺ support does anything: the dose, the delivery, the consistency, and the format. We engineered for all four.

01

Full dose

We dose 600 mg per pouch, the level the human studies actually used.

02

Protected delivery

Our liposomal liquid is built to shield the dose from stomach acid on its way in.

03

Made for consistency

Cellular work is quiet at first. Benefits compound over weeks, so we made daily effortless.

04

Right format

A pre-dissolved liquid: nothing to degrade on a shelf, nothing hard to absorb.

Why liquid

Every way to raise NAD⁺, compared

IV drips and injections work, but they mean clinics, needles, and serious money per visit. We built the daily-consistent option: a liposomal liquid designed to protect the dose on its way in, at a fraction of the cost.

MethodWhat it takesTypical costThe honest read
OursLiposomal liquid Tear one pouch and drink it. Seconds, anywhere. ~$2–3 a day Pre-dissolved and built to protect the dose on its way in. Made for daily consistency.
Capsules Swallow pills with water. $1–2 a day Convenient and cheap, but much of the dose is lost before it’s absorbed.
Injections A needle, self- or clinic-administered. $50–100+ per dose Direct, but it’s a needle plus clinic pricing. Niche use, not daily life.
IV drips A clinic appointment and time in a chair. $300–750+ per session The heavyweight option: hours in a chair, hundreds per visit. Hard to justify every day.

Clinic pricing reflects typical published U.S. ranges and varies by provider.

Your timeline

What to expect

NAD⁺ support builds from the cell outward, so the first week is quiet by design. Here's the honest arc.

Week 1

Foundational cellular work. Little to notice yet, and that's normal.

Weeks 2–3

Some people report steadier sleep and recovery, and a softer afternoon drop.

Week 4+

Ongoing daily support for cellular energy, recovery, and focus.

Simple by design

You're restoring what you already make

You're restoring a molecule your body makes and uses every second. One working ingredient at the studied dose, no artificial colors, third-party tested every batch. If you're pregnant, nursing, or managing a condition, talk to your physician first.

Backed by published research

The research behind every pouch

We lead with citations, not endorsements. Here's the peer-reviewed science behind NMN, why liposomal delivery matters, and exactly where the evidence is strong, and where it isn't.

The molecule

Why NAD⁺, and why NMN

NAD⁺ is a coenzyme your cells rely on in more than 500 reactions, from producing energy to repairing DNA and activating the sirtuin enzymes tied to healthy aging (Covarrubias et al., Nat. Rev. Mol. Cell Biol. 2021). The problem: by middle age, NAD⁺ has fallen to roughly half of youthful levels (Schultz & Sinclair, Cell Metabolism 2016). NMN sits one enzymatic step before NAD⁺ in the salvage pathway, the closest precursor short of NAD⁺ itself, and it's the form studied in 8 human trials.

The delivery

How liposomal delivery protects the dose

Most of an oral NMN dose is broken down by stomach acid and converted in the gut and liver before it ever reaches your cells (Liu et al., Cell Metabolism 2018). A phospholipid (liposomal) layer is engineered to shield the NMN through digestion. Animal studies of liposomal NMN show higher tissue NAD⁺ than standard NMN, and human trials of liposomal delivery in other nutrients show improved absorption. Neither is a trial of this formula, so we do not put a percentage on it. Same molecule, better-protected delivery.

600 mg outperformed lower and higher doses on six-minute walk distance.Yi et al., GeroScience, 2023

Design: 80 adults (~49 yrs), 300 / 600 / 900 mg daily for 60 days, randomized.

Why it matters: A clear dose-response, with 600 mg the sweet spot. It's exactly why we dose 600 mg, not the marketing 1,000+.

Aerobic threshold rose dose-dependently in amateur runners.Liao et al., J. Int. Soc. Sports Nutrition, 2021

Design: 48 runners, 300 / 600 / 1,200 mg for 6 weeks. (No change in VO₂max; the gain was in trainable threshold.)

Why it matters: Performance you can train against, not a vanity number.

Blood NAD⁺ roughly doubled to tripled.Pencina et al., J. Gerontol. A, 2023

Design: 32 adults aged 55–80, pharmaceutical-grade NMN (MIB-626) for 14 days.

The honest line

What's proven, and what isn't (yet)

We'd rather be the most honest brand in the category than the loudest. Here's the line we hold:

● Replicated in humans

  • Raises blood NAD⁺
  • Supports physical function (gait, grip, endurance)
  • Well-tolerated at studied doses

◐ Promising / early

  • Sleep quality
  • Metabolic markers
  • Markers of inflammation

○ Not established, and we don't claim it

  • Extending lifespan
  • Treating or preventing disease
  • Reversing cognitive decline

The standard

On purity

In a 2021 analysis published by ChromaDex (a manufacturer of a competing NAD⁺ precursor, so read it with that in mind), 64% of tested NMN products contained less than 1% of their labeled NMN, and 14% contained none at all. That's why we third-party test every batch: the dose on the label is the dose in the pouch.
