About

Our story
Formulated by athletes.
Backed by science.
Built by people who competed for a living — for the discipline of showing up every day.
Where it started
Greg’s story
Seven years in the NFL taught me that talent gets you there. What you do every day determines how long you stay.
Throughout my career, I saw some incredibly talented athletes come and go. The people who consistently performed at their best approached performance differently. Training mattered—but so did recovery, nutrition, preparation, and the discipline to do the small things every single day.
Supplements were part of that routine for me. I learned to pay attention to what I put into my body, why I was taking it, and whether the science supported it. That mindset stayed with me long after football.

Tevaun’s story
Eight years as a pro taught me that your body is the business. How you take care of it decides how long you get to play.
My career took me from Iowa to the NFL, then north to the CFL. Every locker room had different playbooks and different coaches, but the same truth: the players who lasted treated recovery and nutrition like part of the job, not an afterthought.
I became the guy who read labels. If I was going to put something in my body every day, I wanted to know what it was, what it did, and whether the science actually backed it. That standard is what we built Liquid Theory around.
Tevaun Smith · Co-Founder · 8-Year Pro
“Different experiences. One standard: build something we would be proud to take ourselves.”
The four of us
From the locker room to Liquid Theory
When the opportunity came to build Liquid Theory, we wanted to build it with people we trusted.
Greg, Anthony and Tevaun competed together at Iowa—training together, winning together, struggling together, and building relationships that lasted long after football. Adam came on as the fourth partner because building a great product isn’t enough—you need the experience to build a great consumer business.
And we knew our experience as athletes couldn’t replace scientific expertise. So we collaborated with doctors and scientific experts to challenge our thinking, evaluate the research, and help ensure what we built was grounded in evidence.
Our standard

Products people actually use
The best supplement is the one you’ll take consistently. That’s why we made it simple: one pouch, once a day.
Performance in every detail
From clinically studied dosing to delivery and ingredient quality, every choice is made to help the science perform.
Earned trust
Third-party tested. Every batch. Transparent standards. We only claim what the evidence supports.
